Business Development Manager - Transport
Salary - £25,000
My client is a well-known name in the bulk transport industry currently looking to recruit a business development manager.
Situated in their modern office here in Hull you will work alongside a small, friendly team all pulling in the same direction.

Reporting to the director you will be responsible for building client relationships with new and existing customers, you will be required to manage your own diary, booking appointments and travelling to meet the prospect/clients in person. Other duties will include Collation and filing of documentation relating to quotation, Quote generation using in house CMS, Managing Key Accounts.
The overall aim is to ensure sales targets and KPI's are achieved, while driving the business forward.
Attention to detail, ability to follow set procedures
Ability to take direction as well as manage own time dependant on workload
Competent with Excel, Word & Outlook
Good telephone manner and customer service skills
A B2B history (Transport, logistic, freight background preferable)
