We're working with an exciting Leeds based IT company looking for an experienced Business Development/Account Manager to join their team.
You'll be joining an expanding company, who pride themselves on providing a trusted service to clients in both the public and private sector.
As a Business Development/Account Manager within an expanding business a large emphasis of your role will include New Business development. We're looking for a target driven and proactive sales candidate, looking for a role that can offer them development alongside bonus earning potential.
Duties will include:
Creating new business opportunities, establishing relationships and maximising sales potential
Developing strong working relationships with existing customers, managing accounts and ensuring you're providing a first-rate experience
Managing the full sales cycle, from initial consultation through to proposal and completion, with the help of the technical team
Keep up to date with industry knowledge and the marketplace
Ensuring any client issues are investigated and resolved, acting as a key point of contact for any aftersales enquiries
Maintaining your customer database, establishing a strong pipeline and maximising sales opportunities
Working to sales targets and producing business plans
We're looking for:
A talented and driven sales professional, with an ambitious proactive attitude
Previous experience within a new business, sales account management role
Ideally you will have a technical mind, and have helped to create sales bids or proposals
Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
You'll also need excellent software knowledge and commercial acumen
Target driven, solutions focused attitude
In return your package will include:
A salary in the region £25,000 basic
Realistic OTE of £20k per annum
Uncapped commission structure for both new and existing business
