Job Description

Health Education England (HEE) exists for one reason only: to support the delivery of excellent health care and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.

The Regional Business Management Function provides essential administrative and business support services to HEE across the North Region. Services include:

o Personal Assistant roles
o Administrative support for senior managers
o Event coordination
o Stakeholder Management and engagement with key existing internal customers, and potential new internal customers
o Travel and Accommodation Booking
o High Level Secretariat for internal and external facing meetings
o Facilities support
o Health and Safety oversight and local audits
o Relationship management with building property management companies


The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a second line manager, have highly developed communication skills, be able to work with the minimum of supervision and prioritise tasks independently in order to meet deadlines.
They will have experience in service improvement and be able to demonstrate an understanding of organisation, governance and administrative functions. They will have the confidence to liaise effectively and to develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of individuals as well as strong people management skills.
