Customer Operations Manager
Full Time
£35,000 - £36,000
If you are looking into developing or building on your already existing career as Customer Operations Manager then this could be your next role. The client supports Scientific innovation by providing high quality equipment, consumables and services to laboratories across the country.

This role is reporting directly into the Sales Director, in which you will responsible for two direct reports the Customer Service Advisor as well as the Warehouse Manager, you will need to be a strong people manager and be able to demonstrate this during interview. You will have a real voice within the organisation and will be an integral part of the Management team.

Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures which will help to ensure consistent operating in the absence of a member of the team.
Direct the daily operations of the customer service team providing help, guidance, support and assistance on a day to day basis as necessary whilst ensuring that sufficient contact is maintained with customers to keep them informed of order progress.
Direct the warehouse and service department to ensure the correct priority customer dispatch and servicing requirements are met.
Manage, motivate and coach all your team to develop their roles and ultimately assist the organisations growth.
Create and modify sales reports which can be used by the sales team as a support tool.
Monitor accuracy of reporting and database information, updating and maintaining as necessary to ensure that activities are sufficiently noted to enable another employee to cover the absence of another within the CST.
Following, quoting and managing tenders with both private and public sector.
To be successfully for this role you will be working within a small team developing and couching and working with a multitude of departments, you will need to have good database skills and intermediate with Excel. Ideally you would of worked in one of the following sectors, manufacturing , distribution , automotive or a medical device company. Outside sectors will be considered.
