Job Description

My Public Sector Client is looking for a full-time experienced Business Support Assistant for a temporary assignment based in Edgbaston. The role is paying £9.28 and then £10.79 in the 13th working week onwards, and would be a full time Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm role.

Your role will be to provide a wide range of business support to a multi-disciplinary team in order to develop and deliver integrated patient centred commissioning for the area. You would be part of a team that specialises in Mental Health, Learning Difficulties & Autism commissioning within the West Midlands.

You would be required to coordinate and support case management processes, through updating and tracking Exceptional Packages of Care. Inputting and uploading of patient information/data onto databases/trackers. Coordinating national and regional reporting requests from different team members into a single submission.

It is essential that you are able to organise and set up internal/external stakeholder & provider contract meetings. Take meeting minutes, including attending meetings where required, updating action logs, preparing agendas and papers. You would also need to look after staff travel requests.

You would need to manage the electronic diary for the team, including arranging and changing appointments, prioritising these as appropriate. Organising and planning events/meetings as directed, providing all necessary support. You would also need to support the teams in project management and participate in team events.

You would be acting as a point of contact for all teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously. Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required.

Overall you will need to be organised, communicate effectively and be a capable Administrator. If you feel you have relevant and proven experience, please submit your CV for consideration.
