Job Description

Brook Street have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join our client based in Coventry.

Salary - £21-24k depending on experience

Hours - 08:00-16:45 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-15:45 Friday (1 hour lunch)

Your core tasks will include:

  • Using Oracle based system
  • Providing parts quotations and taking orders over the phone or by email
  • Checking availability of parts and updating customers
  • Organising parts from stores and placing orders with suppliers
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers with a high emphasise on providing quality service
  • Creating orders and dealing with payments - raising invoices and issuing receipts
  • Handling customer complaints courteously and professionally
  • Managing shipments and tracking items
  • Assisting with stocktakes
  • Dealing with returns & third-party collections


About you:

  • Administration experience is essential (business admin is advantageous)
  • Customer service experience or experience answering calls is preferable
  • Analytical mind-set and adaptable to change
  • Good time management, planning and accuracy
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel is essential
  • Good communication skills
