Job Description

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join the HQ of our client HMPPS. This is a temporary position which is highly likely to be ongoing.

If you have a strong admin background and confident with dealing with various stakeholders then this may be the opportunity for you.

  • Client/Role: HMPPS HQ
  • Location: Working from home full time
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week (9:00-17:00, can be flexible around this)
  • Salary: £12.75 per hour
  • Assignment length: Temporary until the end of April 2022 but will most likely be extended


Overview of role:

You will provide administrative support to the business manager

Roles will include:

  • Secretariat support for project team
  • Minute taking
  • Dealing with various stakeholders
  • Proceeding with actions created by the project team
  • Booking meetings
  • Coordinating activities

Skills required for the role:

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Team working Skills
  • Can work under pressure
  • Use your own initiative as well as working part of a team
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Strong Admin skills
  • Strong IT skills- using bespoke systems
  • Strong customer service

Training will be provided for the role to ensure you can fully adapt
