Job Description
Brook street is pleased to offer a temporary assignment working as a Business Support Assistant (band 4) for NHS England South East, within NHS Continuing Healthcare team. The NHS Long Term Plan focuses on delivering integrated care to patients at the local level and we can best support the NHS to deliver this as a single integrated organisation.
As a Business Support Assistant, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Continuing Healthcare Independent Review area in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff in the NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team.
In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; and supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.
Knowledge and experience:
- Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act
- Knowledge of NHS issues
- Commitment to continuing professional development

- Intermediate knowledge of Sharepoint

REMOTE Role, Monday to Friday, 37 hrs per week, flexible schedule. Hourly pay £11.53/hr - initial 12 weeks assignment, possibility extension.
