Job Description

We are recruiting for a Business Support Assistant to work within our Client in the health-care sector.

This is a temporary assignment to start ASAP lasting 4-6 months.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM till 5PM
Location: Worcester (all office based)
Pay: £9.50 per hour

THE JOB PURPOSE

To be first point of contact for all visitors and dealing with any queries that arise.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide professional welcome to visitors and assist visitors as appropriate
  • Respond to telephone enquiries by dealing with calls in a professional and polite manner
  • Taking and forwarding accurate messages to the correct team/department
  • Maintain effective filing systems for the Corporate Office, including the archiving of department files
  • To set up for meetings/events including equipment and hospitality, and provide additional support as required, including taking and transcribing minutes/action notes.
  • Provide secretarial cover for business support colleagues during periods of absence including annual leave and sickness; assist colleagues during periods of demanding workloads.
  • Ensuring accurate and up to date data is recorded on to electronic records systems as required, and that this information is available on request, and communicated to other colleagues as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Previous experience is essential
  • Highly motivated
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes
  • Work within a team effectively, working across office sites Worcester and Hereford when required.
  • Confident IT user
  • Great communication skills
  • Great organisational and time management skills
  • Friendly, polite and approachable personality with a willingness to learn new skills
