Leicestershire Police Force are recruiting for a Business Support Manager to be based in Nottingham on a temporary basis until March 2021.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the support function for the ROCU National Coordinators Office and associated Portfolios by managing Business Staff Officers and Administrators, to make assessments and decisions that enable the services to run effectively. This involves tasking of work, balancing of workloads and management of associated budgets.

The ideal candidate will be an effective member of the Senior Leadership Team with proven experience of advising, negotiating, influencing and making decisions at all levels and taking responsibility for such decisions. Previous experience in undertaking research, interpreting findings and compiling structured reports and summaries for Senior staff is essential. You will be expected to lead by example, and have the ability to continually develop and maintain effective & efficient processes providing solutions to issues, having the ability to generate and evaluate ideas using analytical abilities and taking responsibility for complex decisions. The Force is looking for someone with the ability to take personal responsibility for the planning, successful implementation and management of events to ensure appropriate and consistent recognition and positive publicity. To possess a good knowledge of public policy in relation to Serious and Organised Crime is important for the role. Candidates must be educated to a Degree level or equivalent and must also hold a full UK driving licence.
