Mon-Fri 9-5pm £9.28ph rising to £10.79 after 12 weeks

The Personalised Care Group at NHS England is responsible for driving forward a number of interdependent programmes which are part of the NHS Long Term Plan and Universal Care; Implementing the Comprehensive model. These include Personal Health Budgets, Social Prescribing, Shared Decision Making, Choice in End of Life Care and Personalised Care and Support Planning
These programmes are essential to the successful delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan which sets out a clear vision for the NHS to work to empower patients to personalise and have more control over their own care, including by breaking down barriers between health and social care.
The Policy Team supports the Personalised Care Team in a range of programmes intended to make good on the NHS' longstanding promise to give patients choice and control over where and how they receive their care. As a whole we aim to achieve a step change in patient awareness, offer, and operation and take up of choice to support this commitment, including embedding existing legal rights to choice and extending choice in areas where no legal right currently exists.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a fast paced, radical programme that is changing the way NHS and social care services are planned, ensuring that care and support fits around individuals and their needs and preferences.
Your enthusiasm to approach your work proactively and interact with people in a tactful and diplomatic way will contribute to your success in this role .You will have the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload within the Policy Team and meet tight deadlines while working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual, with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a high quality of admin support.
