Job Description


We have a great opportunity to work for a Client that works for the Government. The Business Support Officer will work closely to the senior management, planning and monitoring the operational activity to ensure that deadlines are met in accordance with relevant priorities. Also, co-ordinate events and meetings ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement. The pay rate will be £14.11 an hour, and this will be a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months, until the end of March; Monday - Friday; 09:00-17:00 (flexible); 37 hours per week; remotely.


Brief duties:
" Provide high-quality accurate, comprehensive, confidential, and executive administrative support to the internal team
" To maintain effective communication through extensive internal and external liaison across the organisation and associated stakeholder organisations
" To liaise with leads within the organisation and other stakeholders to ensure co-ordination of work to achieve objectives.

Qualifications and experience:
" Advanced Microsoft Office skills
" Excellent working knowledge in a range of packages including MS Office
" Willing to learn new packages and advance current skills.
" Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
" Public sector experience
" Evidence of excellent organisation and time management skills
" Ability to work without supervision able to work on own initiative by organising and prioritising your own and others` workloads, to changing and often tight deadlines
" Strong communicator with excellent writing skills, data entry and formatting presentations
Desirable
" Experience of complex diary management, organising meetings and organising events, as well as taking minutes
" Experience of working remotely and of using MS Teams.
" Public Sector
