Job Description
Business Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join the Midlands Regional Learning Disabilities and Autism (LDA) Transformation Team based at LE18
This a short term 3-month temporary position (with possibility of extension) but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
Working remote initially
Pay rate £11.76 per hour rising to £13.12 after 12 weeks
Mon - Fri - 37 hours (9.00am - 5.00pm)
You will be working as an integral member of the team and you will contribute to delivering the Regional teams LDA vision and outcomes. You will be working closely with the Programme Director and Senior Management team
This role will build on the developments of a highly successful and well respected team and will support continuous improvement within the region. Working closely with the Business Support Managers, you will provide a high quality, professional service to agreed processes working across a busy key transformation team.
The post holder will
- Provide a fully comprehensive administrative service to the Programme Director Director, including managing Director's emails and logging correspondence ensuring that response deadlines are achieved.
- Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.
- Support the day-to-day running of the programme office and manage the generic mail box
- Be a proactive forward thinker with high level professional administration skills and experience who can bring a positive ?can do? attitude to the team
- Provide full secretariat support to meetings agreed with the Director or Senior Management team including circulating actions generated within meetings to action owners in a timely manner, and proactively drafting minutes and formal outcome letters within a timely manner
- Have a wide knowledge base and be able to communicate (verbal or written) to an exceptional standard, both internally and externally
Due to the current pandemic, the role will initially be based remotely.
