Business Support Officer (EO) - NHS England

We're seeking skilled administrators with team management experience that would like to extend their skills to benefit the UK Government. As a chosen recruitment partner to central government and the public sector, Brook Street is seeking temporary admin and clerical workers in this area, giving you the opportunity to gain credible experience in the public sector.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for an Executive Officer (EO) in London. This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
Providing junior management support and moderately complex admin tasks, your duties will include:

" Preparing routine correspondence and checking that of others
" Compiling, verifying and reporting data
" Completing forms or reports
" Managing the workload of a small team, if required
" Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
" Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.
" Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery
" Support the management of projects across the team;
" Have lead responsibility for discrete pieces of work;
" Organise meetings and events (including those with local sites and other external stakeholders), ensuring attendees receive accurate and timely information about arrangements and that agendas are circulated in advance;
" Provide a high level, professional and confidential service to the Heads of teams, covering all aspects of secretarial, administrative and organisational support;
" Provide administrative support across the team as necessary.
" Perform any other reasonable duties to support the work of the team

Typical qualifications and experience required:

" Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above

" Two 'A' level passes at grade E or above or equivalent

" NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable junior management experience)

" Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office

" Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
