We're seeking skilled administrators with team management experience that would like to extend their skills to benefit the UK Government. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for an Executive Officer (EO) in London. This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
Providing junior management support and moderately complex admin tasks, your duties will include:
" Preparing routine correspondence and checking that of others
" Compiling, verifying and reporting data
" Completing forms or reports
" Managing the workload of a small team, if required
" Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
" Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.
" Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery
" Support the management of projects across the team;
" Have lead responsibility for discrete pieces of work;
" Organise meetings and events (including those with local sites and other external stakeholders), ensuring attendees receive accurate and timely information about arrangements and that agendas are circulated in advance;
" Provide a high level, professional and confidential service to the Heads of teams, covering all aspects of secretarial, administrative and organisational support;
" Provide administrative support across the team as necessary.
" Perform any other reasonable duties to support the work of the team

Typical qualifications and experience required:
" Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above
" Two 'A' level passes at grade E or above or equivalent
" NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable junior management experience)
" Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
" Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
