This role is located in Woking Town Centre and requires you to carry out administrative duties for the Building Services Team and assist in the management of the outsourced Facilities Management Contract.
The ideal candidate would need to have a broad understanding of building terminology and a basic understanding of a technical services department including the basic principles of building contracts, building regulations and planning law.
You will need to have experience in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for producing letters, memos and reports, have the ability to monitor budgets and have experience of arranging meetings and minute taking.
Duties will include:
Providing administrative and clerical functions within Building Services.
Preparation of incoming invoices, variation orders, interim application certificates and VAT receipts ready for certification.
Assisting with the processing of task orders and compensation events associated with the outsourced Facilities Management Contract.
The administration of property related financial records and databases, and the provision of Management Reports from these.
Assisting with professional and technical staff on property management and inspections.
To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities.
This position would start as a temp position with the view to go permanent after 3 months. The Permanent Salary would be £22,000pa
