Job Description

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: 9am-5pm Monday - Friday
Based in Staplehurst, Kent

A very exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a successful, family run business that offers an extremely friendly working environment with a strong team spirit.

This is a new role that has been created within the company so a great chance for you to put your stamp on the position and to develop and grow within the role.

You will have a minimum of 2-3 years buying experience with strong contract negotiation experience and the ability to source and develop supplier relationships. Your duties will include:
Product category reviews, price comparisons, price change management and negotiation of trading terms, managing new product information, tracking supplier performance, pricing for tenders and much more.

You will be highly numerate, computer proficiency in Excel, drive and determination and strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
