Position: BUYER

Are you someone who can support the Supply Chain team in securing material availability in line with the business requirements and lead the tactical day to day procurement of material requirements in support of business needs and forecast?

Have you got a successful track record in a purchasing environment 3+Years?

Do you have a Manufacturing/Engineering background? Are you looking for the next opportunity? This role is Monday - Friday with an early finish on a Friday!

Key Responsibilities:

You will be using data from ERP system to process action messages and raise ad hoc purchase orders in line with business needs. Updating ERP with the latest information to ensure accurate records for planning and costing. Achieve excellent supplier relationships to provide required quality, delivery and cost to support achieving the output plan. Support requests for quotation, including creation and distribution of documentation packages.

Location: Oxford, Abingdon

Duration: Initial 6 Month contract

Salary: £16.60 p/h
