Your role will involve supporting the purchasing and buying activities of the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing function, to drive and take ownership of key purchasing processes and key activities for a leading manufacturing and engineering company based in Farnham.
You will update customer services and other departments with latest expected delivery dates or supplier related issue. Administer and run the MRP and other purchasing and stock control systems.
Involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost and achieve maximum efficiency
Measuring purchasing performance through bespoke KPI`s and communicating monthly results with Key vendors.
Assist Purchasing Manager in managing supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have their CIPS Level 3 or above a Minimum 2 years` experience in a Buyer/Planner role a Positive attitude, enthusiastic with high levels of motivation and determination and experience of material management into a Production/Manufacturing environment.
