Based in the heart of the city you will provide support to the Buying team with particular focus on product data management, customer and supplier liaison, maintaining the critical path, sample management and general administration duties.
Duties within the role will include:
Using the SAGE 200 CRM system you will create and monitor the critical path, managing the whole order process, and ensuring delivery deadlines are met. Fulfil
client requests and expectations.
Prepare and update client's quotations and spreadsheets.
Liaising with Far East suppliers on a daily basis via email, Skype and telephone on all aspects regarding purchase orders, samples, delivery dates and other ad hoc requests.
Managing and maintaining the sample library. Ensuring samples are delivered to clients on time, and to critical dates for sign off deadlines.
Assigning product codes, barcodes and product attributes into back office systems.
Training and support will be given for the right person. You will need to have some working knowledge of the buying process, great IT Skills and the ability to work as part of the team. Excellent communication skills are essential
