Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company at their head office in Rugby as a buying coordinator! You will be responsible for an allocated group of supplier partners, you will deliver a first-class service to internal and external customers by effectively managing your portfolio.

Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm
Office Based
Up to £25,000 DOE

Main duties;
o Actively manage product forecasts
o Proactively manage the stock profile for your assigned portfolio, driving efficiencies through collaboration with internal colleagues and supplier partners
o Ensure service levels and KPI's are achieved daily
o Act as a gatekeeper for the business concerning inventory decisions within your area of responsibility, challenging internal and external requests as appropriate
o Manage the ordering cycle for all product within your portfolio
o Working to develop and manage relationships with all relevant suppliers
o Support the introduction of new products/suppliers
o Working collaboratively within the Supply Chain function to maintain absolute data integrity within your supplier/product portfolio

Person Specification;
o Previous buying/inventory experience or a business degree is essential, they may consider someone with transferable skills with stable work history.
o Driven and results focused
o Experience of relevant software is desirable
o Strong communication skills
