I have a fantastic opportunity in St Albans for a growing business who are looking for a Production Technician ASAP

Your job will involve all aspects of shop floor production for the manufacture of cable assemblies for the Telecoms, Broadcast, Satellite, Transport and Aerospace Industries.

You should have excellent ability in the preparation and termination of many different types of cables and connectors, using various methods of soldering and crimping of coaxial and multi-core cables. Ideally you will be familiar with working within a cleanroom environment. You need to be adaptable and flexible, and enjoy working as part of a friendly, growing team.

Salary: up to 23k per annum depending on your experience, plus overtime
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 with a half hour break for lunch, and two 15-minute coffee breaks

You should have the following skills:

• Computer literate
• Good understanding of bill of materials
• ISO 9001 awareness
• Understanding COSHH
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to read and understand test procedures
• Electromechanical (general tooling) knowledge
