Our client is a leading Infrastructure firm based in Cardiff with over 100+ staff and specialise in Civil Engineering and transportation.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
" Production of outline feasibility drawings as part of the design development process
" Basic CAD drawing to assist structure designers
" Assist the Design Engineers in the preparation of design drawings and structural details
" Production of reinforcements drawings and schedules
" To work independently using your initiative with minimal supervision - full training can be given, if required.
" Ensure compliance with all quality, technical standards, Health and Safety and Environmental regulations and considerations.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required
" Minimum of 5 GCSE`s including Maths and English
" High level of accuracy and attention to detail
" Great relationship management
" 3D CAD proficiency
" Experience in preparing feasibility studies and concept sketches, progressing them to the preliminary design stage.
" IT literate, capable of using MS work, Excel and other office packages,
" A desire to learn and develop a career in Civil Engineering.
