Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Canteen Assistant on an ad-hoc basis, for our client based in Liverpool. You will be working on a waste management site, assisting the canteen staff with their daily duties.


Ad-hoc to cover: 20th - 24th June / 27th June / 8th July / 11th July
£9.50 per hour
06:30 - 15:00 each day


Duties include:

* Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas daily
* Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards and dishes
* Preparation of food for breakfast and lunchtime menus
* Assisting with the preparation of meal ingredients including: washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting and chopping
* Cleaning the kitchen area including: sweeping and mopping & wiping down the kitchen walls
* Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies
* Ensuring safe working practices at all times
