Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join care organisation`s brand new service in Cheltenham who care for elderly people within luxury accommodation.

Your main role is to provide support to elderly residents who will be living in their own accommodation within one complex (not domiciliary role). Some residents may need only a little support with daily activities such assisting with shopping, light housekeeping or cooking and some residents you will need to provide a more caring role for, helping them out of bed/ to bed in the evening, in the community, assisting with bathing and dressing and personal care. You will be working to maintaining a stable, safe and happy environment and ensuring all care plans are followed and records are logged. For this role you need to be enthusiastic, friendly, caring and be open to a flexible working pattern.

Contract:
The pay rate is £8.60 - £9.00 per hour. We have contracts available for 10- 30 hours per week. There will also be overtime and extra shifts available.
You will need to be flexible in your working hours for this role and be able to work weekends and evenings when needed.
You will receive a full induction and any necessary training for the role.

Qualifying Candidates
- 6 months experience working in the care industry
- Level 2 NVQ is desirable and you will be eligible for a higher pay rate
- Driver with your own transport is desirable but not essential
