Job Description


I am looking for a passionate and care focused team manager to join an established organisation who supports adults with learning disabilities in a supported housing setting.

You will join an award-winning team and play a key part in the management of the managing and leading of the team. You will also take the lead when the registered manager is out of the business.

Your primary responsibilities will include;


Support the development and remodelling of services, raising the profile of care and support services.

Develop, deliver and report on team plans for designated service areas to evidence high quality service delivery.

Ensure the organisational vision and culture are embedded within core areas of responsibility.

Lead, develop, and manage the performance of the team so that it functions as a cohesive, high performing team, which achieves targets, standards and continuous improvement in service performance.

Ensure customer and staff engagement in the development and implementation of business processes to ensure they meet changing requirements.

Lead by example to ensure that services provided adhere to business standards associated with core business disciplines.

Ensure that the service meets the requirements of Care Quality Commission (CQC) and that audit recommendations are implemented.

Ensure customers are involved in shaping the care and support services they receive to maximise their wellbeing and ensure that their individual requirements are met.

Ensure excellent communication across teams within organisation that supports quality service delivery and shares good practice


To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate personal or professional person-centred care experience, have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern and ideally have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

You will also have been in a team leading or management role. Hold an NVQ Level 3 In Health and Social Care and have or be willing to undertake your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
