Job Description

We are looking for wonderful female Support Workers who are medication trained to provide one on one support for the elderly in a supported living setting in Stockport, Greater Manchester (this post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of care needs).

Your responsibilities as a Support Worker will include; to support the individuals in accordance with their needs and wishes, to provide support in all aspects of their daily routine; shopping, cooking, cleaning, to deliver personal care with dignity and respect, to accurately keep documentation and update records and to encourage and enable the service users to get involved in the community and with social activities.

We have both day and night shifts available!

All we require is that our applicants have 6 months` experience in social care with a relevant qualification or 12 months` experience without.

The pay rate for this role is £8.60 per hour and the benefits will include double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, reward and recognition for all of your hard work and a support line 24/7, 365 days a year.
