BS Social Care is currently looking to recruit a Care Assistant within the Carterton, Oxfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly and hardworking team. The role is to work for a well-known and large corporate organisation caring for the elderly.

About the role;


Daily duties include you will assist residents with their personal care needs and help to provide health supervision, and attention through direct care when needed. You will meet the personal and social care needs of older residents, help residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities. You will assist residents who need help with personal hygiene and liaise with relatives, advocates, friends, volunteers and other professional agencies and other visitors to the Home. You will receive, record and communicate information and messages and assist in the care of residents who are unwell. You will assist with washing, cleaning, bathing, cooking, eating, activities and support Senior Care Assistants.

You will work 38.5 hours per week on a two week rolling rota. Shift patterns consist of 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am including weekends

About the candidate;


You will need to have as a minimum the NVQ Level 1 in Health and Social Care and have at least 1 months experience. You will need to be passionate, team player, people person, think on the feet, empathy, and think on your feet.
