BS Social Care are recruiting for a Care Assistant for our client in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Our client is a 30 bed Nursing Home, specialising in residential nursing, respite and end of life care for the over 65`s. Your role will be to promote independence, privacy & dignity by encouraging the residents in the home to make choices, be involved with their own care and also assist in daily tasks.

As the ideal candidate you will be loyal and commited with an ambition to progress further within the company. You must be punctual with good time-keeping skills to ensure the service users receive the best quality care. In order to be considered for this role, you must have 1 years relevant experience working with the elderly in a residential setting and preferably an NVQ Level 2 in a relevant qualification. You must be able to provide 2 references covering a 2 year period, one being from your most recent employer. It would be preferred you have a DBS on the Update Service, alternatively you will be required to purchase an Enhanced DBS.

Shifts for this role will vary between the following:
- 07:45 - 20:00 (long day)
- 07:45 - 14:00
- 14:30 - 20:00
