BS Social Care are currently working with an established organisation that provide domiciliary and complex care in and around the Birmingham. They are now on the hunt for a Care Coordinator to complement their established team.
Working closely with the management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in rota management, staff delegation and updating and amending care packages. In addition, you will administer medication, share "on call" responsibilities, liaise effectively with external agencies and communicate in a professional manner with clients and their families to maximise the quality of life for the service users. Assist with care calls which include personal care, companionship, meal preparation and domestic tasks.
To be successful within the role you must have a background in the home care field and be competent in managing rotas and scheduling care calls. You must hold a clean driving licence and have access to your own car. A level 3 in health and social care is essential to be considered for this vacancy.
Strong communication skills, a passion for making a difference to the lives of the people you support and excellent attention to detail are essential also.
For all your hard work you can expect a salary £18,000 to £21,000 and excellent in house training.
You will receive an additional on call allowance, generous annual leave entitlement and continued training and development.
