Job Description

** Dementia Registered Home Manager **
** Permanent and full time **
** £38,000 (negotiable depending on experience) **
** Working within a retirement home for elderly with Dementia **
** Very well-established for over 40 years**

BS Social Care are currently working with a 21 bedded retirement home who are now recruiting for a Registered Home Manager who embraces supporting ambulant elderly in peaceful life in congenial surroundings with quality care and companionship.

About the job; the Registered Manager will have responsibility for the direct management of the people we support and their families and the management of the staff teams that the highest standards of care are in place. To meet and promote the needs of everyone and provide opportunities to advance their opportunities and life experience in a positive manner. They will lead in the maintenance and development of the staffing team. In addition to ensuring the home is run in line with company policy and will hold responsibility to quality assure that care is delivered against CQC requirements.

The Registered Manager will undertake a wide range of duties which will involve some direct and indirect care of elderly with Dementia. They will be supported with two well experienced Deputy managers and full staff team. They will provide part of the on-call service for the homes alongside the management team and will have allocated on call days for which they are responsible.

You will also be responsible for a great, calm, and fun environment. This is a retirement home for elderly and the deserve the best.

Essential qualifications for the role;
- Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
- Applicants must have experience in similar setting/ needs.
- Applicants must have experience on a management level of minimum 3 years.
