Job Description

We have a brilliant opportunity to join a family run residential care home for elderly residents in North Somerset.

As the home`s Care Manager you will be responsible for a team of care staff, managing and motivating them to provide the best possible quality of care. You will be responsible for all medication for the residents and liaising with outside healthcare professionals. You will organise the staff rotas, interview potential employees, and ensure all the relevant paperwork and documents are completed in compliance with CQC. You will keep all members of your care team up to date with the latest practices and trainings as well as being creative and using your own initiative to contribute to staff meetings and the home`s growth.

This role is primarily a 9am-5pm role, however you will need to offer some flexibility on occasions.

For this role we are looking for someone who is motivating, creative and has in depth care experience. You must have solid care management experience within an elderly residential home, with a Level 5 Care Management qualification or equivalent. A nurse qualification would also be beneficial. You will also need to be a driver and have your own transport for this role.

You will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000.
