Job Description

I have an exciting opportunity for a care manager to join an established domiciliary care service, based in Solihull, who prides themselves on the delivery of high quality care within the community. This is a busy service, delivering in excess of 3000 care hours per week.

You will join an independent domiciliary care provider who has been established for over seven years and has secured a great reputation for the delivery of bespoke, tailored care packages. You will become part of a team who put the client at the heart of everything they do and are committed to delivering consistent care and support.

You will join this organisation as a trainee/junior care manager and work closely with the registered manager and office team to ensure the effective day to day running of the service. You will play a key role in managing the staff team; effectively delegating tasks and working within CQC guidelines. You will liaise effectively with external agencies and visitors to the service and be committed to marketing the business in a positive manner. You will ensure all care plans and reports are up to date and that staff teams are managed effectively and in a professional manner.

Already a highly skilled deputy or care manager, you will have excellent communication skills and have a good working knowledge of care monitoring programmes. A good understanding of CQC policies and procedures and management skills are also essential to apply for the trainee/junior care manager role. You will be ambitious, committed and self motivated, with a passion to develop and progress through ongoing training, mentoring and person development.

The QCF level 3 in health and social care is essential to be considered for the care manager job role. You will also be working towards or willing to work towards the QCF level 5 in leadership and management.

As with all domiciliary care roles, you will be required to split your time between office responsibilities and working within the community across the Solihull Borough. Therefore, flexibility is essential to be considered for this role, as you will also be required to share "on call" responsibilities.

Applicants will only be considered if they hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicles.

The successful care manager candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary ranging from £24000 to £27000 per annum dependent on experience. You will also receive a generous benefits package to include up to 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paid business mileage allowance and access to external health insurance benefits.

Applying for the care manager job role couldn`t be easier. Applications can be submitted online via the BS Social Care website or CVs submitted via email.

Alternatively, you can call me in confidence on 0121 633 3123 between the hours of 9am to 530pm, Monday to Friday to discuss this vacancy and other job roles we have available.
