A Care Team Assessor is needed for a client who provides respite care specifically for family carers covering the Cambridgeshire area, paying £17,000 to £21,500. This role is to work for a leading care organisation that is very well established, who is growing more and more every day.

About the job;
You will be working within clients homes to promote independence through greater choice and control. To provide support and assistance to carers and people with care needs in a whole family approach. This will involve the provision of personal and social care, respecting confidentiality at all times within an equal opportunities framework and in compliance with our quality assurance standards. Also support to achieve personal goals and positive outcomes. You will be part of a team of professionals based in the community. You will work closely with the coordination team & other professionals to provide support and guidance to prevent and shorten admission. You will complete initial assessments and be part of a responsive team providing support to Service Users. You will support service users with daily routines such as shopping, bathing, dressing, cleaning and assisting with mobility. We need people who are going to be dedicated to this role and care for our service users the way they deserve to be cared for.
You will work 74 hours over a two week shift rota period. Some of the shifts include 8am - 4pm, 9am - 6pm, 12pm - 8am and alternate weekends.

Some of the benefits include mileage, pension, career progression, 28 holidays including bank holidays and training.
A salary of £217,000 to £21,500 will be offered for this role on a full time and permanent basis.

About the ideal candidate;
You will be caring, committed, loyal, bubbly, friendly, out-going and approachable.
You must be a driver and will have at least 6 months Health and Social Care experience. You need to have a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
