Job Description

Our client are looking for someone to join them immediately as a caretaker on a 5 week temporary basis with the possibility of it becoming permanent after a successful period.

The school is based on the north side of York and due to it's location transport would be preferable. The hours are full time and on shift patterns of 6-2 7 11-7.

Your duties will include:
Setting the priorities for maintenance and repair
Carrying out basic repairs
Maintaining access to the premises and maintaining security
Cleaning or the supervision of cleaning
Championing health and safety around the school

Experience is not essential however it is desirable, if you have experience working within a semi skilled environment then this could be a great role for you. To go forward with this role you would need to be DBS checked or if you have a valid DBS on the update service then this would put you in good stead
