Caretaker/Maintenance

Salary - £02,000 - £25,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08.30am to 17:00pm

Location: Southampton/Totton

My Client are looking for a Caretaker/Maintenance, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, and maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly conditions
• Cleaning and supplying designated building areas
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Cleaning designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom, communal areas cleaning etc…).
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs as required
• Decoration of rooms such as wall paper/carpet tiling/ painting
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Gardening duties
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Experience

1. Proven working experience as a Janitor or caretaker
2. Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
3. Full driver's license
4. Gardening experience
5. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
6. Integrity and ability to work independently
