Job Description

Our public sector client are looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a case administrator.

You will be working with the national probation service helping with their new initiative `project in a box`. This is a great new initiative that will see ex offenders supporting the homeless by crafting hand made scarves. You will be co-ordinating this project by contacting people on probation to find out if they want to take part in this home working initiative, making up the boxes, sending them out and receiving them. These boxes will consist of instructions, wool and knitting needles.

Your day to day duties will include:
- Making up the boxes,
- Working with the store keeper to ensure there is a constant supply of materials,
- Ensuring you are getting the completed boxes back,
- Communicating with referrals and cases of people on probation,
- Making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls to current probation workers

You will be required to communicate with other national probation service employees to get referrals and support with the initiative. A high level of communication and organisational skills are required for this role. As this is a new initiative you will take a big part in moulding this project.

The ideal candidate will have administration experience and previous probation service work will be a bonus but not a must. Crafting skills may also be useful.
