Job Description

Our client based at Highpoint in Suffolk is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The hours are; Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm with a 30 minute period for lunch.

There is free, on site parking. The office is based within a short walk to a café.

You will be working within a busy department in the prison. The immediate team consists of three Resettlement workers and an on-site Line Manager. Who work alongside various other internal agencies in resettlement, as well as the wider prison. You will also liaise daily with various external agencies e.g. probation, local authorities etc.


You will be providing administration support within the National Probation Service, ensuring that staff and service users are supported.
The role will include, but will not be restricted to;
Maintaining administration systems
Database management
Record and file management
Prepare, maintain and collate case records
Receive and distribute communications
Attend meetings as appropriate, supporting as required; agendas, taking minutes/notes
General administration

The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator both verbal and written
You will be able to work using your own initiative and be a good team player
The rate of pay is £9.06, rising to £9.56 after a period of 12 weeks (National Minimum Wage applies)
