** Case Administrator - His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service ****

Brook Street is working with His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service to recruit an Administrator/support worker working within the Probation Service. Probation Service carries out sentences given by the courts, in custody and in the community and rehabilitates people through education and employment. These are careers that change lives.
The Role:
We are recruiting for an exciting role as a Case Administrator/Support Worker (Temp), part of the?His Majesty's Prison and Probation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Public Sector and provide an essential service that has a diverse organisation with a wide variety.
You will work collaboratively with other team members to provide reception duties and a range of administrative support services. You will also support several teams/functions within the operational area and offer support and cover during periods of absence, for which training will be provided.
Please Note:?You will work 24 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with a pay rate of £12.43. This is currently for until April 24 with a view to being extended.
What will be your primary responsibilities?
You will support the divisional office. The role will involve, but not be limited to, performing the following:

" Support Senior Probation Officer who is Dyslexic
- Change font and colour of text in selected emails and documents needed
- Attend and take minutes of selected meetings
- Type up handwritten notes
- Arrange meetings with other professionals via email or phone
- Diarise meetings and tasks in calendar
- Assist in completion of pre-case allocation checklists
- Proofread reports
- Add and log entries in case management system as directed
- Ensure deadlines are met regarding reports

To apply for this post, you will have:
" GCSE A*-C Grade (or equivalent) including Maths and English (and Welsh where applicable) or proven track record in commensurate role
" Good keyboard and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Word and basic skills in Excel
" Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
