Job Description
Leicestershire Police Force is recruiting for Case Conference Coordinator for the Child Vulnerability department based at Wigston Police Station.
The main purpose of the role is to prepare for and represent the Police at Case Conferences in a Multi Agency Forum, ensuring the welfare of children is paramount by influencing decisions made regarding children being made subject of a child protection plan, then completing all administration needs and database functions.
Essential Criteria:
To be educated to GCSE standard in English Language minimum Grade C or equivalent and/or have work experience requiring the use of English Language to the above standard.
To have experience of working within a confidential environment.
To be able to demonstrate the ability to compile data into report format accurately and concisely by researching IT systems and other means as appropriate and display good analytical skills
To be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and organise own workloads in a busy pressurised environment.
To be able to demonstrate by example the ability to use initiative particular in problem solving.
To be able to demonstrate effective communication skills on all levels both verbally and in writing, and possess excellent listening skills
To be able demonstrate the ability to deal with conflict, calmly and effectively.
To demonstrate by example resilience in representation and the ability to resolve conflict.

To demonstrate sound leadership Skills
Applicants must have a clean driving licence and use their own car
Desirable Criteria:
To have previously worked within a child protection environment and have an understanding of safeguarding issues
To have previous multi agency experience.
To have an understanding of the Child Protection Conference Process
To have previous knowledge of relevant Police databases
