Job Description

Are you self driven, results oriented with a clear focus on delivering high performance? Do you have a good understanding of the principles within the claims and legal industry?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the client's Prescot office, you will be able to manage the funding of each particular legal case utilising a case management system alongside planning and organising your own workload.

The purpose of the role as a Case Handler is to review solicitors cases and to assess the validity of each specific case and it's suitability for litigation funding.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Maintaining and developing a database and case management system.

Liaising with all solicitors and funders.

Reviewing each specific case files to ensure that they are then suitable for funding, judging the vetting criteria and the prospects of success.

Responding and then following up all telephone enquiries.

Monitoring and then reporting all activities and then providing the relevant management information.

Processing each particular claim on the policy to failed cases details then liaising with the ATE providers and Funders to confirm the loan is fully paid.

Processing successful cases to then ensure the loan is paid in full.

Ensuring all relevant departments are notified of successful settlements.

To apply for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

Be a natural forward planner who is able to assess and critique own performance.

Reliable and determined.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be a good team player.

Although it isn't essential, it would be desirable for you to have some knowledge of litigation funding, insurance and legal claims or the financial services industry as a whole alongside having knowledge of the Proclaim system.
