Job Description

Do you have a good understanding of the principles within the claims and legal industry?

Are you a self-driven, excellent communicator who is results oriented with a clear focus on delivering high performance?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working in a fast-paced environment at the client's new Liverpool office, you will be able to manage the funding of each particular legal case, utilising a case management system alongside planning and organising your own workload.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Maintain and develop a computerised database/case management system
Review case files to ensure that they are suitable for funding as per vetting criteria and prospects of success.
Liaise with funders and Solicitors.
Managing any funding drawdowns accurately.
Respond to and follow up, telephone enquiries.
Produce reports from the case management system/database.
Guiding Solicitors on how to proceed/process the case. Monitoring the progress of a case.
Monitor the case to ensure that it continues to fit the criteria
Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.
Process claims on the policy on failed cases, liaising with ATE providers and Funders, to ensure the loan is paid off in full.

Specific Job Skills:

Essential: Understands the principles of claims/Legal industry. Either a paralegal, fee earner or claims handler.

Desirable: To have some knowledge of litigation funding, insurance/legal claims or the financial service industry.

Desirable: Proclaim knowledge

Working hours are Monday - Friday 35 hours and are rota based, 8-4/9-5/12-8 must be flexible to work Saturdays if required.
