Recoveries Case Handler (Motor dealerships)

📍 Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)
💰 Salary: £29,000
📄 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (35 hours per week)
⏰ Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm
🌴 Annual Leave: 30 days + Bank Holidays

The Role

Motonovo finance are looking for a Recoveries Advisor to manage their own portfolio of cases, working closely with car dealerships and Account Managers to recover outstanding debt and reduce financial risk.

Based in our vibrant Cardiff call centre (with hybrid flexibility), you'll be part of a supportive team with a friendly, people-first culture that mirrors how we treat our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of cases, providing professional and efficient service to maximise recoveries

• Liaise with dealers and Account Managers to negotiate the repayment of outstanding debts

• Maintain strong working relationships with field staff and stay aligned with regional account activities

• Identify and raise concerns where conduct or debit patterns suggest recurring issues

• Recommend appropriate next steps when internal collection efforts have been exhausted

• Produce clear, timely weekly and monthly reports on collections and performance

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of cases

• Confidence in handling challenging conversations and managing complaints

• Background in collections, complaints, or financial services is beneficial but not essential

• Organised, analytical, and detail-focused with solid numerical skills

• Resilient team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid environment

• Ability to use initiative and solve problems independently
