Job Description

My Public Sector client based in Quinton is looking for a caseworker to work as part of a team in their Assessment unit. The role is an ongoing temporary position, full time 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday paying £13.12 per hour.

As a Caseworker, you will be given cases to investigate and recommend whether they should be upheld or if there is not enough evidence to pursue them. You will need to come to your decisions through analysing information that you are provided. This may include statements and CCTV in order for you to conduct your investigation thoroughly and review all the information you are provided with to reach your recommendation. This will then be passed to a decision maker for them make a final verdict on your analysis.

You may need to liaise with external stakeholders, so on top of have a questioning and analytic mind you must be able to communicate effectively and succinctly. You must have had previous experience balancing multiple case loads and be able to demonstrate experience in reviewing and analysing information to reach a decision or outcome in line with targets and specific timeframes.
