Job title: Caseworker - Government Agencies
Hours: 37.5 per week Monday- Friday
My client is highly successful property surveyor who is committed to offering professional advice and guidance on commercial properties. They are currently recruiting for a Caseworker to join their Appeals Department. The company has a fantastic reputation for the development of their staff and creating a progressive and dynamic work environment.
The Caseworker position would suit an individual with commercial and local authorities knowledge and a sound understanding of the current rating system in England and Wales, and looking to progress their career within a highly successful company.
" Submitting cases to relevant Government Departments
" Liaising with HMRC, VOA and Local Authorities with the main aim being achieving reductions
" Consistently manage a complex caseload in a timely, efficient and effective manner ensuring a quality service
" Review and assess individual`s needs analysing information against criteria, interpreting financial information and collaborating with other professionals to reach recommendations and adjustments for clients
Caseworker desired skills and experience:
" Understanding of the Non-domestic Ratings system in England and Wales and knowledge of property
" Experience in understanding building and survey plans
" Exceptional numeracy and mathematical skills
" Ability to deal with a complex caseload, prioritising work and exceptional communication skills
Full training is available for the right candidate, however ideally candidates will have previous experience in casework for local authorities, government agencies, public sector or commercial properties.
The Caseworker position offers a competitive basic salary up to£30K which is pending experience, training and additional company benefits.
