Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge ? change in career ? £ 25.65 per hour in Manchester/Salford area.
Full time fixed term contract for 9 months with a possible extension.
Start Date - ASAP

To developing contracting and negotiating strategies with business owners and external stakeholders
Be able to articulate problems to wider stakeholder group for participation and buy-in.
Set-up / Participate in project working groups.
Comply with all project gateway and governance controls - the project sign off process is critical in a client and internal governance-led environment.
Proactive identification of risks and issues, escalating where appropriate in a timely fashion
Autonomously manage business services related procurement projects from end to end supported by the relevant legal procurement rules and regulations, with Head of Procurement management gateway support
Provide clear and professional advice around procurement and contracting
Developing contract documentation where required
Delivering training, workshops and presentations to senior stakeholders, procurement teams and client managers
Develop effective evaluation methodologies which deliver against client objectives
Lead the mobilization of contracts on behalf of clients liaising between client and successful bidder stakeholders

To provide support Procurement process (legal process, scoping, briefing, tendering, selection, evaluation, contract negotiation and management of suppliers) across the business services category.

Solid experience working in a procurement team and have knowledge of basic contract and supplier management processes

Strong and recent knowledge across the business services procurement category. Particular focus will be on the experience of dealing with market leading sector organisations. A self starter, used to working on your own initiative and relish the opportunity to work autonomously.
Proven track record in creating and executing Category Management strategies, with ability to lead negotiations and deliver cost savings

Dealt with outsourcing agreements and have experience.

£25.65 per hour
