Brook Street are excited to be hiring catering staff for the local NHS.
Now is a perfect opportunity to stay in work and help an industry in need.
As a member of the catering staff you will help in running and maintaining the kitchen and supporting the chefs. Shifts patterns will vary, as you will be covering permanent staff on sickness or holiday leave. The total number of weekly hours will be between 25-35 hours. Previous catering or kitchen experience will be expected and qualifications for cooking and food hygiene will give you an edge.
Duties will be as follows
Food preparation.
Ensuring that stored food complies with safety regulations.
Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen utensils and work surfaces.
Working as part of a team to ensure deadlines for meals are met.
Pay rate will be £9.00 per hour with weekend overtime pay. Please note that these roles are temporary but will likely be ongoing for several months.
