Job Description

Certification Officer

Seeking an individual with a passion for customer service and holds a great attention to detail. You would be joining a comforting office in the heart of Southampton.

Location: Southampton (close to station)

Position: Temporary

Rate: £8.36PH (first 3 months) - £10.63PH (duration of contract after 3 months)

Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (flexitime hours available e.g. 8:00AM-4:30PM) 37hrs pw.

This is a customer facing role, delivering high levels of customer service by ensuring that certificates issued meet requirements and are issued accurately within the time frame of service agreements.

Role:

  • To process applications leading to Certificates of Competency
  • To give related advice and assistance
  • To organise all incoming mail
  • Assess and process applications
  • Answer telephone enquiries and reply to written enquiries relating to certifications

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service environment; face to face, telephone and written communication experience is essential
