Channel & Devices Marketing Team - Channel Marketing Executive

Contract until June 2019 initially.

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Channel Marketing Executive. This is a contract role until June 2019.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: up to £30,800 per annum, based on experience, plus 5% end of contract bonus

Job Description

To be part of a small team that supports the UK & Ireland Channel Marketing Managers (CMMs) within the Channel & Devices Marketing team, within CDS. Everything this team does is focused on driving sales of Microsoft products and services, including Xbox, Surface, Office, Windows devices and PC accessories. The Channel Marketing Managers build marketing plans in close collaboration with other CDS team members and retail partners. The CME role will support the execution and monitoring of these marketing activities. The role is based at Microsoft offices in Thames Valley Park, Reading.

Key Accountabilities
Support Channel Marketing Managers in the execution and tracking of marketing activity with selected retail accounts
o Complete Proof of execution activity for purchase orders for all categories
o Complete product sales sheets / catalogue placement forms as required for all categories
o Conduct website audits to agreed rhythm for all categories
o Manage production and communication of Release Schedules - ensuring correct recipients and content
o Manage the Microsoft FTP library for all categories to ensure assets are up to date
o Coordination of Sales conferences & events, post CMM managed brief & sign off
o Management of field team monthly briefing process, via document & in person when appropriate
o Review editorials / advertorials against brand guidelines
o Briefing in agencies on merchandising requirements, requesting quotes, approving creatives and organising distribution
o Purchase Order raising in close collaboration with CMM

Candidate Requirements
1. Knowledge of marketing planning process and components
2. Experience of working with partners
3. Basic excel - some items that the candidate will need to do is build pivot tables, create a drop down list of options and sort a list of data
