Accountancy job in Edinburgh! Brook Street are working on an exciting role with our client, we are looking for a Chartered Accountant with minimum if 2 - 3 years experience. Our client offers the chance to work with clients in a wide range of sectors and the role will involve a great deal of client contact some of which will be at a clients' premises. The role represents the opportunity for someone to assist in the continuing growth and development of the business.

Key responsibilities:

" Building, developing and maintaining relationships with your portfolio of clients
" Preparation of annual accounts for companies and partnerships
" Supervision of staff preparing sole trader accounts
" Supervision of staff preparing periodic managements accounts
" Supervision of staff preparing cloud based bookkeeping records
" Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
" Supervision of staff preparing VAT returns
" Supervision of staff preparing weekly and monthly payrolls
" Preparation of Profit and Cashflow forecasts
" Involvement in business advisory
" Involvement in tax advisory

Key skills/knowledge:

Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS/ACCA)

" 2+ years post qualified experience within a general practice environment - essential
" Exceptional communication skills - both written and oral
" Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
" Ability to prioritise workload and handle deadlines
