A new opportunity for an Chartered Surveyor/Building Surveyor has arisen to join an established Chartered Surveyors in central Newcastle.

We are looking for a highly motivated, construction management professional who has the ability to thrive in an environment with a continuous stream of work.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking on-site surveys
Producing detailed reports and recommendations
Identifying defects and advising on remedial works
Offering advice on proposed alterations, improvements and extensions
Preparing budgets and schedules
Advising on environmental and safety issues
Meeting with clients and contractors to oversee progress
Offering advice in relation to legal and planning issues
Working on-site and in an office.

Key Attributes:
Ability to think independently, creatively, and critically
Understanding of financial concepts and ability to relay information to the landlords to educate and advise
Ability to effectively manage a growing team
Experience with building pathology, dilapidation's and refurbishment schemes Chartered Building Surveyor, training on communications infrastructure will be provided
Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required.
